This is your chance to own a 5% share in a Buzz Iceclear for as little as £19.99, what a prize someone is about to win and I think this is going to be very popular as we are getting horse racing fans into proper racehorse ownership for as little as £19.99.

Our new competition gives you a chance to own 5% in the Mark Walford trained Buzz Iceclear for 12 months. Prior to being purchased by Racing To Profit, he is a horse who showed promise in a point to point when staying on for 6th place (winner sold for £300k) so obviously decent form.

Since then Buzz Iceclear has run 3 times under rules, all over the minimum trip of 2 miles and stayed on well in each race. He shapes like a horse who wants further and now he will have a handicap mark from his 3 runs, the plan is to step him up in trip where he is sure to improve massively. No doubt now he goes handicapping and steps up in trip, a win is just around the corner. The plan is to run him a couple more times this season and then put him away for the summer, before returning next September/October for the new National Hunt Season. He is very much a 3 mile chaser in the making and Buzz Iceclear is only going to keep on improving.

The winner of the competition will be involved with the horse for a whole year which will see them pretty much through his runs this season and for next season’s National Hunt Season. You will then be given a chance to stay on after 12 months, entirely your choice.

Buzz Iceclear trainer is Mark Walford who trains in North Yorkshire.

• Mark is a superb young trainer, who’s ambitious, friendly and is a great communicator. Owners are always welcome at the yard, and we’ve a great working relationship together since we started. He’s pro syndicates and does what he can to help us, which we greatly appreciate. He always makes time for our owners trackside, and is generous with his thoughts.
• Of course, being a good trainer helps also! We have three very good trainers in the north, all of whom excel with chasers, and as we try to buy future chasers, that does help! 🙂 There’s some method to our madness. Mark has a 15% SR with all chasers, which is up there with some of the best in the north. He has a 14% SR with all National Hunt runners, which is very good, nearly 15% with those aged 5-10.

You’ll join a dedicated ‘Buzz Iceclear’ WhatsApp group we use to communicate with you regularly, with ‘up to the minute’ information, including from trackside on race-day.

You will also get access to ‘The Racing Manager‘, a portal which takes you even closer to your horse, with entry & declaration alerts, race previews & reviews from Timeform and access to video replays of Coolree races shortly after they’ve been run.

Everything we do is open, honest and transparent. This includes a full financial report at year end, so you can see where every penny has been spent, how much prize money was won and if you’re due a rebate from unspent costs against our forecasts.

Your Race Day Experience

We work hard to ensure all owners and guests enjoy ‘Owners & Trainers’ access when our horses run, and we usually get you the best badges we can, including complimentary access to the course, parade ring and some Owners facilities. On the rare occasions we are over-subscribed on any given race day (and the course cannot accommodate us), owners will be put into a ballot for Owners’ & Trainers access. We do also guarantee all members complimentary General Admission access when the horse runs, the cost of which is covered by us.

Each time the horse runs you’ll get a full race preview from Josh, post-race thoughts and an update on the horse’s wellbeing the following day.

If you can’t make it to the races, we’ll keep you up to date from the course, via the WhatsApp group with pre and post race thoughts, including from the jockey and trainer. Our job is to take you to the heart of the action, on the inside. 

Your Social Experience

There’s so much to enjoy as a shareholder of your own horse, the pinnacle being when they run, compete and win! It’s hard to describe that feeling of elation, I’ve never experienced anything else quite like it. In a way, those moments are the ‘destination’ – but it’s vitally important we enjoy the journey also, wherever it may lead.

At RTPS we value your social experience – and often view it as a ‘social club for racing fans, with a horse’ – with that in mind we do our best to enhance your social experience throughout the year, meeting fellow owners and enjoying each others’ company.

This includes organised stable visits – at least x2 per year, often coinciding with racing at Newmarket. You’re free to visit Amy’s yard whenever is convenient also and we can help organise that.

We also host other race days and hospitality days throughout the year, including at Sandown and Aintree.

I’ve made friends for life through my own ownership experiences and now with our own syndicates. I’m sure you will too.

Our job is to make your ownership experience as stress free as possible – we do all the work, all the heavy lifting. All you need to do is keep informed with our updates.

We will organise everything when the horse runs and with our other social events. All you have to do is say ‘yes we’ll be there’ and then to turn up! Whether at the races, Mark’s yard or at other events. Even if you’re sat at home, we will do our best to make you feel as close to the action, and your horse, as possible.
